Though it is widely believed among his and Oko's family that all of this is just a front he puts up to hide the deep-seated insecurity and fear of not being his own person, of just being a 'clone' of Oko.

Oko and Rem's relation: They're... really, closer than twins, because Rem was actually a part of Oko's soul that broke off during a healing gone wrong, and quickly became its own person. Rem was originally given the name 'Alioko' by Oko and Karrian. However, detesting this name because it wasn't his own, it was just a part of his brother's name, years later he adopted the name Rem, and insists everybody call him that now. The two are still very close, and rely on eachother for emotional and mental support.
